Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally thanked Hollywood couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher for raising millions for the people of Ukraine in a Sunday tweet.

Zelensky spoke with the couple on a virtual call and lauded them for their support of the war-weary nation and birthplace of Kunis.

“.@aplusk & Mila Kunis were among the first to respond to our grief. They have already raised $35 million & are sending it to @flexport & @Airbnb to help refugees. Grateful for their support. Impressed by their determination. They inspire the world. #StandWithUkraine,” Zelensky tweeted.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this support,” Kunis, who was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, said after the fundraiser surpassed $30 million.
