CPAC director: It’s a ‘mistake’ for Pence to skip conference

Former Vice President Mike Pence will not be speaking at the annual CPAC convention, and the director of the event thinks it’s a “mistake.”

Conservative Political Action Conference Executive Director Dan Schneider said the conference sent invitations to both former President Donald Trump and Pence back when they were in office, and he expressed his thoughts on the former president accepting the invitation, while the latter did not.
