A New York woman was shot while she was inside a church in Rochester.
The woman was at Iglesia Ebenezer when she was shot Tuesday around 8 p.m. She was in the building, though it appeared that the shooting originated from outside the building, the Rochester Police Department said.

The victim of the shooting, 47, was hit in the upper body, but her injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. She was hospitalized, according to WHAM.
No one has been arrested in connection to the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
