Bernie Sanders is giving no indication that he’ll drop out of the Democratic primary race anytime soon, saying the coronavirus pandemic provides an opportunity to show how a key campaign platform would work in real life.
“We are winning the ideological debate — I think especially in this terrible crisis that we’re in, people understand that healthcare is a human right,” said the Vermont senator, referencing his Medicare for All plan, which would abolish private health insurance in favor of a government program.
