Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said Wednesday the public’s reaction to President Trump adding a question regarding citizenship to the 2020 census is just the “latest absurd freakout.”
Rubio defended Trump’s decision, saying citizenship matters and districts should not be apportioned based on illegal immigrants living in the country because it “dilutes the political representation” of U.S. citizens.
