Virginians approve constitutional amendment for redistricting commission

Virginia voters approved a constitutional amendment that establishes a bipartisan redistricting commission and one that provides a vehicle tax exemption for disabled veterans.

With about 87% of counties reporting, 65% voted in favor of Amendment One, which establishes the redistricting commission. Another 86% voted for Amendment Two, which establishes the tax exemption for disabled veterans.
