President Trump tore into Paul Ryan after excerpts from an upcoming book showed the former House speaker left Congress because of his disdain for the commander in chief.

With a salvo of tweets late Thursday, Trump took shots at the Wisconsin Republican over his ill-fated run as Mitt Romney’s running mate in the 2012 presidential election and record as a congressman.
