Jared Kushner is endorsing the Collins-Jeffries Prison Reform and Redemption Act that the House will mark up this week, stating that it would significantly help prisoners re-enter society.
“Over the past year, the Trump administration has worked closely with congressional leaders and prison-reform activists around the country to develop these ideas, including through listening sessions with state and local lawmakers,” President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed Wednesday.
