Democratic Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Tuesday that Congress doesn’t have to choose between investigating Ivanka Trump’s emails and focusing on getting policy passed.

“We can do both,” Blumenthal told CNN when asked if he would focus on the issues before looking to investigate the Trump administration, in particular Ivanka’s private emails. “Accountability and progress on the issues is not incompatible.”
