Following my report yesterday about CBS News Investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson being unavailable for interviews after angering the White House and Justice Department, Tommy Christopher at Mediaite reports that Attkisson has responded on Twitter:
Don’t worry! Nobody is being silenced. Thanks for the interest in the reporting on Gunwalker.
I certainly hope that’s the case. However, I don’t find it encouraging that all inquiries to Attkisson are being suddenly routed through CBS News senior vice president of communications Sonya McNair. Further, McNair still hasn’t responded to my inquiries about whether Attkisson’s availibility is related to her revelations about angering the Obama administration.
I hope Attkisson is still reporting and returns to giving interviews as soon as possible.
