A crowd descended on Capitol Hill Wednesday in the early morning to wait hours for the chance to Michael Cohen’s public showdown with the House Oversight Committee.
About 70 members of the public were permitted to watch in-person the event unfold between President Trump’s former personal lawyer and the panel, chaired by Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md. Those who missed out on a seat in the Rayburn House Office Building committee room were directed to an overflow space on the floor above.
