New text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, both of whom worked on special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Trump’s relationship with Russia during the 2016 election, will be publicly released Thursday as part of the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General report.
The two agents were outed last year for having an extramarital affair and sending messages to each other that criticized President Trump despite their being part of a federal probe into his 2016 presidential campaign and transition team’s possible collusion with Russia.
