New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday that President Trump’s threat to pull federal funds from cities that don’t comply with federal immigration law would destroy the work police have done to cooperate with immigrant communities.

“It’s going to make cities less safe, that’s the bottom line,” he said on CNN.
