Joe Biden said President Trump should stop commenting on the coronavirus because he’s not doing anyone any favors.
“I think there’s no confidence in the president and anything he says or does,” the 2020 Democratic presidential front-runner told MSNBC. “He turns everything into what he thinks is a political benefit for himself, and he’s actually imploding in the process.”
“But there’s a lot of innocent bystanders that are being badly hurt,” Biden said. “I wish he would just be quiet. I really mean it.”
Biden also said he believes Trump’s handling of the outbreak has led the stock market to plummet.
“I believe that’s the case. Now it doesn’t mean the market wouldn’t still go down. But it wouldn’t collapse, I don’t think,” he said.

Trump downplayed the virus on Monday, comparing it to flu deaths last year. In a tweet, Trump failed to note that the statistics for the flu were for an entire year while coronavirus cases, which are multiplying rapidly, had only been tallied for a few weeks.
So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!
