CROWN POINT, N.Y. (AP) — About 250 re-enactors are expected at a New York state historic site on Lake Champlain during this weekend’s annual French and Indian War encampment.

Activities at Crown Point State Historic Site on Saturday and Sunday include naval landings in replica boats and musket firings along the shoreline where the French and British built forts during the 18th-century wars for control of North America.
