Closings, delays continue after latest snowstorm

WASHINGTON (AP) — As temperatures dipped to single digits overnight around the mid-Atlantic a day after another snowstorm, schools and governments in the region remained closed or delayed opening.

The federal government opened two hours late Tuesday and workers can take unscheduled leave or telework. The District of Columbia government opened two hours late and a snow emergency in the city has been lifted.
