BEIRUT (AP) — Lebanon’s new national unity Cabinet has won a confidence vote in parliament after bridging divisions largely tied to the civil war in neighboring Syria.

The state news agency says Prime Minister Tammam Salam’s government garnered the support of 96 out of 101 lawmakers who attended Thursday’s vote.
