Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) presidential campaign released a country song called “Never Back Down” on Wednesday afternoon, which was composed by country singer Billy Dean.

The song was shared on DeSantis’s campaign website, with DeSantis’s team creating a music video for the song using campaign footage. The song’s title comes from the Florida governor’s 2024 campaign slogan, “Never Back Down,” and was also shared on YouTube.
