Talk show hosts from The View suggested that Nikki Haley appear on the program to defend her recent comments on racism.

The former ambassador to the United Nations recently claimed during a television interview that the United States is not and has “never been a racist country.” This followed a previous statement Haley made surrounding the Civil War, in which she failed to mention it began as a result of slavery, but she has since walked back that comment.
