Eric Trump slams Biden and Harris, says they are ‘lazy’ and ‘lack motivation’

Eric Trump took aim at President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing the duo who took over the White House after his father of being “lazy.”

“I think they’re lazy,” Trump said during an interview with Newsmax. “I think they lack motivation. I think they lack the charisma to do what my father did.”

Trump pointed to the recent surge in gas prices and the crisis at the southern border, saying his father, former President Donald Trump, had such issues “under control.”

“You know, it’s sad. My father had these problems under control,” Trump said, adding that the border crisis is an “absolute mess.”

Trump also pointed to the lack of press conferences held by Biden and Harris, questioning why people don’t hear from them as much as the previous president.

“My father was on a plane every single day. He was literally going somewhere every single day, and where are these two? Why don’t you ever hear from them?” Trump asked.

“They’re not giving press conferences,” he added. “They’re not going out in the Rose Garden like my father was. They aren’t doing press conferences as they’re getting on Air Force One. They’re not traveling anywhere. I mean, there just seems like there’s a vacuum in Washington. There’s no energy. There’s no speed. There’s no desire to actually fix these problems, and that’s depressing.”

Biden came under fire earlier this year by becoming the first president in 100 years not to hold a press conference during his first 43 days in office, eventually holding his first press conference on his 64th day in office.

But Biden has also been known to stop and field impromptu questions from reporters outside of typical settings, something White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted “is not something we recommend.”

“He takes questions nearly every day he’s out [with] the press,” Psaki said.

“A lot of times, we say, ‘Don’t take questions,’” she added. “But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States.”
