The American Medical Association‘s Journal of Ethics this month argued that medical schools must embrace critical race theory and anti-racism in their curricula in a peer-reviewed article.

The article, written by a Los Angeles-area psychiatrist and three students at University of California medical schools, claims that in order to root out white supremacy and systemic racism, the education arm of the medical profession must embrace anti-racism.
