Costco key sales metric rises in May, tops Street

ISSAQUAH, Wash. (AP) — Costco’s sales at stores open at least a year climbed 6 percent in May, topping Wall Street’s expectations.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters predicted a 4.8 percent rise in the figure.
