EXCLUSIVE — Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) will not attend President Joe Biden‘s State of the Union address to Congress next week, stating that she refuses to be part of the president’s “puppet show.”
In a text statement to the Washington Examiner, the Florida congresswoman called the State of the Union historically “one of the greatest times in our country” and a traditionally “nonpartisan event.” However, Luna said what she has learned during her time in the House has led her to boycott the address, making her one of the first members of Congress to publically announce they will not be in attendance.
