The estate of the late musician Sinead O’Connor has asked former President Donald Trump to stop using her music, specifically the song “Nothing Compares 2 U,” at his campaign rallies.

The former president had used “Nothing Compares 2 U” as one of several songs ahead of a speech he gave at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference on Feb. 24. O’Connor’s estate, in a joint statement with Chrysalis Records, stated it was “an outrage” to learn that Trump was using the song at his campaign rallies, as “Nothing Compares 2 U” is the song O’Connor is most known for.
