Baltimore County police tracked a group of suspects in Wednesday?s Dundalk shootout to a local grocery store, where they made three arrests and turned up items allegedly stashed in a hurry, according to charging documents.
Christine Mesaris, 22, told police she was driving her Lincoln Town Car just before 6:45 p.m. when her boyfriend, Wilson Zeno, 18, told her to pull over, the documents say.
Zeno got out and fired at a blue Ford Escort until someone in that car shot back, the documents say. Zeno got back in the car and they took off.
Police trailed the Lincoln to the Mars supermarket in the 7800 block of Wise Avenue and watched the couple and a 16-year-old suspect go inside, the documents say. All three were arrested on assault and gun charges.
Police watched a store security tape and allegedly saw Mesaris hide something on a shelf, the documents say.
She later told officers she knew she had to get rid of the marijuana, they say, when she heard the police helicopter.
A fourth suspect also has been taken into custody.
