Trump guilty: Biden campaign says Trump verdict evidence 'no one is above the law'

President Joe Biden‘s campaign described a New York jury finding former President Donald Trump guilty on all counts in his hush money trial as evidence that “no one is above the law.”

“Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain,” Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler told reporters Thursday. “But today’s verdict does not change the fact that the American people face a simple reality.”
