House Republicans on Friday called on Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and prosecutor Matthew Colangelo to appear before Congress in June for a public hearing to discuss the case they brought against former President Donald Trump.

The lawmakers asked the two prosecutors to testify before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on June 13. They plan to ask a third person, former Federal Election Commission head Brad Smith, to appear at the hearing as well, according to a source familiar with the plans.
