President Joe Biden is extending Secret Service protection to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the independent running for the White House in 2024.
Kennedy, who previously mounted a Democratic primary challenge of Biden before filing as an independent, and his supporters have repeatedly called for a Secret Service detail for the candidate, a call echoed by former President Donald Trump following the attempt on his life on Saturday.
