OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma lawmakers return to the state Capitol to enact details of a budget agreement for the upcoming year and consider other legislation.
Gov. Mary Fallin and legislative leaders released details of the budget agreement on Friday. Budget details must be approved by the House and Senate in legislation and signed into law by Fallin before the spending plan goes into effect. The 2014 Legislature is constitutionally required to adjourn no later than 5 p.m. on May 30, but lawmakers have said they hope to adjourn one week early.
