Gas prices across the nation dropped again on Friday. The national average price for regular gas fell to $3.122 per gallon on Nov. 1, a nearly 1-cent drop from Thursday’s price of $3.131.
Friday’s price was also less expensive than a week ago, when regular gas cost $3.144 per gallon. Gas is also cheaper than a month ago, when a gallon of regular gas cost $3.204. The current price is the least expensive gas has been in the country since January 2024, when the average price was $3.075.
