Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) is running for reelection as National Republican Congressional Committee chairman, the North Carolina Republican announced on Sunday.

Republicans are headed toward controlling the House for another term, securing 214 seats so far, per the Associated Press. They need 218 to control. Democrats have won 203, and 18 have yet to be called as of Monday morning.
