President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming “border czar,” Tom Homan, sternly warned Democratic mayors and governors against opposing Trump‘s deportations of illegal immigrants, stating they will face “consequences” if they choose to instead harbor these immigrants.

Multiple Democrats have spoken against Trump and Homan’s planned deportations, with Tuscon, Arizona, Mayor Regina Romero being among the latest to call them “cruel and immoral.” Homan, however, was perplexed over her comments, questioning, “What’s cruel about it?”
