Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) contended President Joe Biden‘s pardon Sunday night marks the latest weaponization of the nation’s justice system by the administration, to the point that it has “gotten rid of the nation’s rule of law.”

The president issued a “full and unconditional pardon” Sunday to his son, Hunter Biden, marking a reversal from his repeated claims that he would not pardon his son. In reacting to Biden’s pardon, Mills suggested the president believed his power as president could have affected his son’s conviction back in June, pointing to how Biden influenced the convictions of President-elect Donald Trump in his legal battles.
