Andy Harris condemns ‘unfathomable’ Biden pardons for interfering with Congress

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Harris (R-MD) warned that the “unprecedented” preemptive pardons granted by President Joe Biden would have drastic effects on future congressional testimonies, specifically due to how the immunity these pardons grant.

Biden, who is leaving the White House on Monday, granted preemptive pardons to Gen. Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and members of the former House Jan. 6 committee in his final hours as president, prompting harsh criticism online. In assessing these “worrisome” new pardons, Harris argued that many people who were just granted pardons “lied to Congress,” specifically noting how Fauci misled Congress on the COVID-19 pandemic.
