House Republican introduces measure to put Trump’s face on $100 bill

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) has introduced legislation to put President Donald Trump’s face on the $100 bill.

Gill’s bill is the latest of many Republican efforts to enshrine Trump’s legacy in some way. The Texas congressman’s legislation is being co-sponsored by Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX). The Golden Age Act would require all $100 bills printed after Dec. 31, 2028, to feature Trump’s face on the front side, replacing founding father Benjamin Franklin.
