Stephen A. Smith says Trump’s win is a ‘mandate’ for Democratic party to change

ESPN host and podcaster Stephen A. Smith gave a harsh rebuke to the Democratic Party for not taking the blame for President Donald Trump winning the 2024 election.

Smith’s analysis comes months after Trump won 312 electoral votes and the popular vote. Since 2001, the Democratic party has only lost the popular vote twice: once this most recent cycle and again in 2004. Meanwhile, former Vice President Kamala Harris outperformed her predecessor, Joe Biden, in only 58 counties and lost every swing state.
