Democratic protests of Trump address defy Jeffries request for ‘dignified’ response

House Democrats ignored Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’s (D-NY) request for a “dignified” response to President Donald Trump’s address to Congress.

During Trump’s 100-minute speech, some members yelled out at him while several held up signs in a coordinated effort to protest his remarks silently.
