President Donald Trump commented on Thursday about Rep. Al Green (D-TX), the politician who interrupted his joint address to Congress on Tuesday night. The president’s critical comments came on the same day the House of Representatives voted to censure Green for his disruption.

Trump said the Texas congressman “should be forced to pass an IQ test because he is a low IQ individual, and we don’t need low IQ individuals in Congress.” Trump also said Green was an embarrassment and called for punitive action against him.
