The national average price for a gallon of regular gas increased to $3.182 on Wednesday, according to AAA.
The price hike will leave the national average cost of gas at a higher point than a month ago, when it was $3.158. Contrary to claims of gas prices decreasing, the data shows that fuel costs ultimately increased over the last month amid significant price point fluctuation.
