CHICAGO (AP) — Police in the Chicago suburb where a woman whose body was found in a suitcase in Indonesia once lived were called to her house dozens of times before her death.

The spokesman for the village of Oak Park, David Powers, said Thursday that records don’t indicate any arrests. But he says police responded to the house in the upscale suburb 86 times between 2004 and June of 2013 after receiving calls on domestic situations. He says many times police took missing-persons reports.

Police continue to go through records. But what happened at the house may shed light on the relationship between Sheila von Wiese-Mack and her daughter, Heather Mack, before the grisly discovery of the mother’s body in Bali.

Police there have detained 19-year-old Heather Mack and her boyfriend.
