COLONIE, N.Y. (AP) — Rail service is back to normal west of Albany where a burning bulldozer delayed Amtrak trains for a while.
Albany Fire Department Battalion Chief William Moore tells the Albany Times Union (http://bit.ly/1p6mjkP ) a man working on the $83 million second-track project between Albany and Schenectady Tuesday afternoon jumped off his bulldozer when it caught fire shortly before 4:30. The machine kept moving for some distance before an Amtrak worker climbed on and stopped it.
