Gingrich argues voters are siding with Trump over ‘Obama-Biden system’

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich contended that several key problems are plaguing the Democratic Party as it seeks to oppose President Donald Trump, one of which is voters siding with the current president in the impending “cultural civil war.”

Gingrich suggested that neither former Vice President Kamala Harris nor Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), her 2024 running mate, has “a clue about America” and called both of them “shallow.” The former speaker, who recently released Trump’s Triumph: America’s Greatest Comeback, argued that he sought to portray in his book the divide between Trump and the Democratic Party and how voters are “increasingly” siding with Trump due to his opposition to “the very values” of the “Obama-Biden system.”
