NAACP says it won’t give ‘platform to fascism,’ Trump not invited to convention

The NAACP announced that President Donald Trump is not invited to its national convention this year. 

The decision was made because of the NAACP’s opinion on Trump’s policies. NAACP President Derrick Johnson accused the president of believing in a “fascist playbook” and attacking the nation’s “democracy” and “civil rights.”
