Adams trails in fourth place behind Sliwa ahead of general election: Poll

New York City Mayor Eric Adams’s chances of winning reelection appear slim, as a new poll shows him in fourth place behind Republican Curtis Sliwa, Democrat Zohran Mamdani, and independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, a former Democrat.

Only 11% of registered voters in New York City said they would vote for Adams if the general election were held today, compared to Sliwa’s 14%, according to a poll published Wednesday by Democratic pollster Slingshot Strategies.
