The Trump administration announced a collaboration effort between two government agencies on Wednesday, the goal of which is to augment domestic manufacturing.
The two agencies, the Department of Labor and the Small Business Administration, signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” to facilitate efforts to increase manufacturing in the country. The collaboration will focus on enhancing cooperation and data-sharing “across key programs,” seeking to “cultivate a pipeline of skilled workers to support domestic producers,” according to a release issued by the Labor Department.
