The driver accused of plowing his car through a crowd in Los Angeles on Saturday is a convicted felon who is out on parole, according to police.
Fernando Ramirez, a 29-year-old from San Clemente, has an extensive criminal history ranging from misdemeanors to felonies dating back over a decade. He has been involved in at least 11 criminal cases.
