The suspect allegedly responsible for ramming a car into a crowd in Los Angeles, California, late last week was hit with more than 70 criminal charges on Tuesday.
The man, identified as 29-year-old Fernando Ramirez, is facing 37 counts of attempted murder for each victim wounded and an additional 37 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, with the vehicle as the weapon. Saturday’s car attack resulted in no fatalities.
