The national average price for regular gas on Wednesday is $3.14 per gallon. 

It is a price point that has remained steady throughout the country the last week of July. On July 24, the national average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.16. By July 27, fuel costs had slightly decreased, falling to $3.145 per gallon, according to AAA. On Tuesday, gas prices had dropped to $3.136 per gallon before the very slight increase again to today’s price.
