The Department of Defense has identified three soldiers who were killed by an Afghan soldier during an insider attack in Afghanistan on Saturday.

Sgt. Eric Houck, 25, Sgt. William Bays, 29, and Cpl. Dillon Baldridge, 22, were assigned to Fort Campbell, Ky.

Houck was from Baltimore, Md., Bays was from Barstow, Calif., and Baldridge was from Youngsville, N.C.

The three Army soldiers died in Peka Valley in the Nangarhar province.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of our soldiers who were killed and wounded,” said Gen. The Pentagon said it is investigating the incident.
