More disturbing details are emerging about the volatile marriage of Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, both of whom are now in treatment and are embroiled in a court case following a Christmas Day domestic dispute. Us magazine sources say out-of-control arguments are nothing new for the pair, and that Brooke’s demons involve alcohol and crack addiction, which she relapsed into after her sons’ birth.

A family friend told the magazine that when one of her now 18-month-old twin boys was born underweight and had to be hospitalized, she started self-medicating.
